BIO

I began my photography career as a photojournalist, traveling to such far-flung locations as Africa, Asia, and South America. Back home, I was shooting celebrities like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Kirsten Dunst for a variety of publications.

My career as a wedding photographer started almost by accident: two close friends asked me shoot their wedding as a favor, and gave me full creative license. It was a total revelation! Wedding photography could be honest and beautiful and spontaneous and fun too. The whole notion of approaching weddings with a photojournalistic eye was just gaining momentum, and I feel quite fortunate to have been part of that exciting time.

I look forward to every wedding I shoot. Each provides a new opportunity to tell a unique story. No two couples are alike, and I believe deeply that the record of their wedding should reflect that.
